Monster Mash Reimagined
As a personal project, I took on the Drawtober 2024 challenge with the theme Monster Mash, blending illustration and typography to create a series of vintage-inspired monster posters for social media. This project allowed me to experiment with text and imagery, capturing the eerie charm of classic horror aesthetics.

The Process
Color palette
This color palette that balances dark and light tones to create strong visual contrast, making the design more striking. Red serves as the most dominant color, adding intensity and drawing attention to key elements within the composition.
Inspiration
I drew inspiration for the Monster Mash project from grunge poster designs, embracing their raw textures and bold aesthetics. The use of unique font wrappings adds a dynamic, distorted feel that enhances the eerie and unconventional vibe of the design.
Roughs
The rough drafts provided me with a strong foundation to build upon, allowing me to explore different design directions. While they guided my process, I remained flexible, making adjustments and refinements to enhance the final composition.
